Ruby Tuesday is a weekly gathering held every Tuesday in Osaka for Mo-ku Mo-ku & LT & 🍺 sessions.

💋 Overview

It all started with a simple idea sparked by the fact that the legendary Stones’ song includes "Ruby."

This is a Mo-ku Mo-ku & LT & 🍺 event.

We welcome topics beyond Ruby and IT as well.

(Examples: reading, crafts, musical instrument practice, etc.)

Non-engineers are more than welcome to join.

This is a casual attempt to "study something you love and share it with fellow members every Tuesday."

Even if you’re not familiar with the concept of mo-ku mo-ku sessions or LTs, feel free to join. Our goal is to keep it relaxed and ongoing. It might even be a great opportunity for those looking to cultivate a habit of studying for 1–2 hours a week 💪

🤔 What is a Mo-ku Mo-ku Session? What is an LT?

Mo-ku Mo-ku Session

The term “mo-ku mo-ku” likely comes from the idea of “studying diligently.”

It’s a gathering where a small group of people bring their laptops or craft materials and work quietly together.

LT (Lightning Talk)

LT stands for Lightning Talks. "Lightning" in English means "a flash of lightning." True to its name, an LT is essentially a short presentation – usually around 5 minutes – given at study groups, events, or conferences.
